To finish it simply go to The Red Horse Inn for a scene and then return to Deeproot Tavern to finish it (100 dinari). Next head to Deeproot Tavern and take the quest here.

Head to the House of the Mother next for a scene. You'll see the acronym by it change from AV (available) to IP (in progress). You'll have a scene, afterward select missions and select Adventuring Permit to start it. Now that we're set up, back out of the menus until you're in the Town of Giamata menu, and choose Giamata Keep. Select Form Party and add your characters to your party and add them in the order I have them listed, with the Stormseeker as the first. Hobogoblin - Warlord - Commoner - BlacksmithĮlf - Archaeologist - Commoner - Craftsman The pre-created characters are pretty close to what I used already, but I made my own. Your only option will be to select Steward, and then Adventurers. You'll be in your new guild, and have a ton more scenes. You'll have some scenes, and then the prologue will end and you'll get an achievement. Turn on auto-battle and after the 2nd round you'll be told to flee, do so. You'll cross a bridge and get a scene and another fight. Follow the path through a door and then straight ahead through the next one. After the scene, go north through the door, then north one more square and go west. Just press to select fight, and then press and then to start auto battle to win. This isn't our actual party (as you can tell since the character we just created isn't in it) so don't bother looking at their skills or anything, you won't have them soon. Then go north for a scene and then a fight.

After going through the door head north 3 squares and turn left to find a chest with 100 dinari, which is the money in this game. For some reason the game forces you to open every door, so you'll need to press when facing a door, and it closes when you go through it so you have to open it every time you go through. You'll be shown the controls after a scene. After a scene you'll start the game's tutorial, more or less. Either effect is nice, but getting them from the same spell is even better.

When summoned she heals your party and attempts to paralyze all the enemies. This will make our initial summon Lyra's Song of Harmony. (so choose Honesty, Compassion, Valor, Humility, Compassion, Valor) and then choose Compassion when prompted to choose between Compassion and Valor. Choose compassion if it's an option, if not just pick the first option. You'll then be asked a bunch of questions, and given two answers to choose from. Note that the lines are recycled often, so you probably don't want too many duplicate voice sets, even if you like one of them a lot. The last choice is voice set, and it doesn't matter what you pick. Your origin gives a small bonus, I used Blacksmith. Skill points are always preferred over stats for me, so go with commoner. You get more skillpoints from commoner, and more stat points from noble, and the bonuses increase as your rank increases. Your birthright is next, and that gives bonuses based on rank. Next up is character quality, which is their rank. Portrait comes next, and which one you pick doesn't matter. The next choice is your class, I made my main character a Stormseeker. Your race gives a small bonus, I like Human for the skill point. Which one you pick doesn't matter, just remember to choose the other gender for playthrough 2. Your gender decides which love interest you get, and is locked to your gender. Next you'll be asked to create a character after a scene. From what I understand, the difficulty ramps up quite a bit as you go up, so do it at your own risk. As for Hard, you can't save in the dungeons, which can be awfully annoying if you need to quit for some reason. You can't set the encounter rate to 0% in Old School, so it can make farming materials much more annoying as you'll be attacked by enemies. I wouldn't suggest Hard or Old School though. I played it as Story Mode in both playthroughs, but you're welcome to go higher if you really want to. There's no benefit to leaving it on.Ĭhoose new game and a difficulty. The penalty is pretty steep though, so make sure you turn it off. For some reason the setting won't save, so you have to do it every time you turn the game on. As a reminder, you'll want to turn off the experience penalty in the option before playing.
